should i cower, since i've been gone so long? sincerest apologies, because well...harry potter, house m.d., lost and school have eaten my life. i've been working on little things intermittently, but until the horror that is winter break homework is over and life returns to boredom(or simply free time), i don't know if i'll be able to post anything but drabbles. hope you're all doing well, and happy holidays, whatever you may celebrate! wishing you all the very best new year, full of bishounens and such, though i'm certain i'll post before jan1. from california(on vacation) y'all, ho...ho!

I AM ALIVE AND V.V.V.V.V.V.HIGH.
yeah so school started and for some strange nerdy reason my english class revvs me up like no other. like i would date it if it were a guy. without a doubt. seriously.
am feeling like writing, yes, but am limiting self to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=91.7) pot_challenge and iron_tennis so will not completely crash and burn in school. this be fic!dump for prev. contest entries WHICH I LOVE LIKE NO OTHER. uhm. yeah. i'm still revved. &sorry for being absent so long. poke me or something, so i don't like abandon everything. =( that would be sad. on side note, am randomly updating nachtiigall probably more than is healthy(really now, my life? i'm dying on writer's block. ;__; so here goes. if anyone wants anything written, give me a fandom/pairing and a genre. i'll write whatever, because i can't write anything right now and i'm trying to get out of this horrible slump. secondly, i have a piece that i'm going to attempt running through the beta system(i've never had a beta before) so i'll be needing the essential(a beta). XD;; it will either be fruits basket or full metal panic!, so if you're interested let me know? and sorry for long lj absence. i can't do anything but chores and movies and tennis and work when i'm on writer's block. when i have time i just sleep. -_-;;
in the meantime, here's a challenge from peace_x_life. this is what happens when i ask my friends what they want me to write. they give me het pairing. and not just het, but het fluff. ;__; nevertheless, i wrote it for you(it's sort of fluff...?). i'll go gargle with bleach now.

samurai champloo is perhaps one of the best animes i've seen a while, just for it's pure unique qualities and quiet, yet forceful mood and dynamic characters. i can't really say enough, but what clinched the entire series for me was the ending that was so bright and conclusive - an ending that actually closed up the anime, but left room for the characters to grow. it was one of those endings where if life were as fair or biatchy as we think it is, someone should have died, but no one did and i would be very "^$&^($#@ that was a horrible ending!" right now if i didn't love the characters so much. but after it ended, there was still that little "what if". what if someone had died - jin could have twice, fuu twice, mugen thrice. who would they be, if they were not the fantastic threesome anymore? and though i wouldn't change the ending for anything, this is my 'what if'.
